The villa itself is a historic home and the family offered us the chance to read about its history, which made our stay even more memorable. "This is our go to stop-over on our way back from a second home in the French Alps. The hotel is a Heritage Building at the heart of the old walled town which sits high above the city of Laon. There is plentiful parking in close proximity and a variety of interesting restaurants. Laon Cathedral is amongst the finest in France and is just 5 minutes walk. Excellent and cost effective breakfast not to be missed. We will be returning quite soon!"

"A rustic property in the quaint village of Longpont, this hotel felt a little like one of those “Restaurants with rooms” concepts that are springing up now, in that everything revolves around the restaurant, more or less.
