"This is my go to spot to stay in Boone Nc and I had probably stayed there at least 5 times in the last year when visiting my kid at App State, which is literally maybe 2 miles away. Graystone Lodge is very clean, has a free breakfast which is very good with local pastries besides a full breakfast buffet. And did I mention the indoor pool which is warm and in a nice area and big enough for kids and adults. They give you an opportunity to tip the staff that has helped you but please put all of their pictures on the site as travelers are not good with names but can reward the people that have helped you with a photo. I will be back. And a special shout-out to the manager there as I had a problem with the local car rental company (Enterprise Boone fair warning DO NOT USE Them) who was willing to refund my second nights stay that I booked months ago due to issues with the car rental company and they were fully booked. I GREATLY appreciate the customer service Graystone Lodge in Boone. Wonderful, "

"After an exhausting and emotional day dropping my daughter off at college for the first time, it was wonderful to have a hot shower and fall into a comfy bed. This is the second time I’ve stayed at this particular Sleep Inn, and I will definitely stay here again when I visit my daughter."
