"Located close to the sea in Grikos, it is a clean and quiet hotel. Communication was always easy and helpful. Beds were comfortable and small kitchen in the room is good for cooking simple food or a coffee. Airconditon was working well. The main attractions of the island are not in walking distance. You need a car (hotel has a private parking place) but also, there is good bus system and the bus station is 2 min walk to the hotel. Overally, we were happy to stay here and would choose again. "

"This small hotel (6 villas altogether) is an absolute dream. The location is great , in a quiet area in front of a nice little beach with views of the opposite island and also with 2 good tavernas at a short drive or walk. The villa we stayed was great size , classic greek style, simple but efficient and well arranged. The private terrace meant that we could sit in the shade and enjoy a meal or a drink with wonderful sea views. There is a swimming pool that is surprising big and cool and well...

"Really enjoyed our stay at the 9 muses. Our suite was very pretty, the staff was friendly, and the food was very good. The only downside is that the hotel is pretty isolated, and it can take a lot of time for cabs to arrive... would rent a car if staying at this hotel!"

"We stayed in the 'presidential suite', which was a really lovely apartment, with a stunning view over the sea. Breakfast isn't worth it - you would be better off going down to the town and eating in in one of the cafés. The one serious problem with this place is its location - it is very difficult to find, and no matter what your GPS or Google Maps says, you should go to the town first, then drive up the hill. Also, it is a long and steep walk down to the town, and a real ordeal to come back...

"With had a room with private pool which was lovely. The room was a good size and had a lounge area which was also spacious, as was the patio. Home away when on a distant island in Greece
"I traveled to Patmos with my 2 daughters via ferry. We arrived at 2am, and Nicholas and his son met us there with kind faces and a bottle of water. They drove us the short distance to the studios. During our stay, they were the most accommodating. Our rooms were clean and had everything we could need. I highly recommend!! They are the best. "
