"We spent two lovely days in Pau and were delighted to be guests in the Hotel Le Roncevaux for that time. It is an older hotel but is nicely upgraded with all modern conveniences. And the location in Pau is perfect for the visitor. The staff was friendly, courteous and made the extra effort to ensure our satisfaction. I recommend the hotel without any hesitation!"

"Not a five-star hotel, or at least, not anymore. The carpet in the hallway is decades old and stained. And there were no pillow cases on two of our pillows. "

The room was clean and spacious and had everything we required. We did not hear any street noise. The location was very accessible to walk to the tourist sights that we visited.
