"Hotel has good rating on hotels.com but after booking, reviews on sites such as expedia, were not that great. Location is great, amenities are dated and so are the rooms. The walls are thin, the carpet is old and the elevators are shabby due to the hotel needing to be updated. The staff at the desk are not friendly, but the staff everywhere else are very friendly and accommodating. I suggest bringing your own beach chairs and umbrellas as the hotel charges $30/day for them. The other rental company charges more than that. This is a good place for a quick getaway, but if you're looking for resort style and upscale, this ain it. "

"I have stayed in some bad hotels in the past, but this one takes the cake. Not only do you have to park in a vacant lot across the street (yes, rain and traffic) but one of the elevators was out. It's when I got to the room when I realized had bad it is. Wanted to call the office Sorry not phone in the room. Wanted to set a wake-up call for the next morning, sorry no alarm in the room. I know, people in the future will stay here, but I assure you there are better places"

"Clean room and linens. We rented the beach front room with a king and built in bunk beds for our children. It was perfect for us and our children loved it! So much to do as far as pools, lazy river, quick beach access. We weren’t there long enough to do everything but the 2 days we were it was simply perfect. We will be back! "

"Be cautious. We booked knowing it was non-refundable if we cancelled, but La Quinta cancelled the reservation and did not refund our money. My son arrived before me and tried to check in. He is 19, which is against the hotel’s rules, but this was not posted on Expedia. I was thirty minutes behind him but when they saw that he was under 21, the reservation was cancelled. They said the refund had to go through the third party (Expedia), and Expedia claims they attempted to convince them to refund, but it was declined and nothing else can be done."

"Father-in-law passed on Christmas day so wife & I just wanted to get her mom away for a few days. Everything & everyone there made a relaxing stay."

"We had an amazing trip. Everything from the moment we got there to the sad moment it was time to leave. The house was amazing and offered everything we needed, all we had to do was bring food and clothes and shower items. The house its self was perfect, everyone was comfortable and really enjoyed being here. 2 minute walk to the beach was one of our favorite things about this house. We will definitely be back to stay again. Definitely our most memorable trip! "
