"Clean, comfortable. However, we were staying in town bc of family member at lexington med ctr in critical care. Went back to hotel to rest and asked husband to get an adult beverage downstairs for me. It was 12:30 on sat night or rather sunday morning. The lady at front desk said...sir, im not selling you alcohol. It is sunday now and we font sell alcohol on sunday. Really, are you kidding. We have lived in the area for 40 years and that law is no longer. There were no signs posted in the beverage area that said no sales after 12 on saturday nights. Really disrespectful and u friendly. We are in our 50s and just wanted a nightcap after a very hard day. "
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Columbia-I-26 @ Harbison Blvd by IHG
4/10 Poor
"Staff was very nice, but I can’t understand why I was put in a room initially that was flooded - there was a leak immediately below room #213 in the breakfast area near lobby. Hotel isn’t very old, but it isn’t maintained well. Housekeeping might do a good job, but aren’t very discreet. Breakfast was typical offerings. Too many options in area to stay here again."

2/10 Terrible
"I had to abruptly leave shortly after checking in due to poor customer service and extremely poor cleanliness. Upon checking in, we weren’t properly greeted, as the gentleman was on his phone the entire duration of the checking in process. After arriving to the room, we noticed several stains alongside the mattress, stained/molded curtains, dirty walls and lamp shade, amongst other issues. There was a spoon in the side of the bed from a previous stay. Having severe allergies requiring me to carry an epi pen at all times, this posed an alarming health risk. I went to take a shower and noticed that we didn’t have any washcloths and the towels appeared to have not been washed. My husband went to obtain washcloths and towels from the front desk and was told that we’re only allowed two per room. We immediately left and went to another hotel. "
"There are no shops near. The only food is a Burger King or Cracker Barrel. The room was clean, but the hotel is dated. you can see obvious deterioration in the rooms with missing baseboards and stained carpet. The registration staff was good, only one person had an attitude. All the other staff was very friendly and welcoming."
