"Very unsatisfied with my stay in the twin room. Cleanliness was terrible, with stains on all the towels and bed sheets. Pillows all smells mouldy. Bathroom without exhausting fan and with strong sewage smells. On the first night there were two huge spiders in our room, we can’t find anyone to help at around 10.30pm because reception finished work at 10pm. We couldn’t sleep until around 1am because we only managed to kick one of the two spiders out. I told the reception girl the next morning that...

"Beautiful location with amazing views of the ocean. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were beautiful, and so helpful. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, was usually cold every morning, and because I am such a fussy eater did not like the breakfast buffet very much, which had a lot of Indonesian food, which I do not like, but I am very fussy with food. They still served eggs anyway you wanted them cooked, had fruit and cereals so still had a good size breakfast every morning (just mentioning this for those people who are fussy like me). The only issue we had with the accommodation, was the shower being in the bath, the bath was very high and there were no handrails to hold on to get in and out of the bath. Consequently, my husband slipped getting out of the bath and fractured 3 ribs. This is fine for younger people but we are in our 60s and not as limber as we used to be. We reported this to the staff and the same afternoon, they had installed to handrails in the shower, which we were very grateful for. We also had access to a doctor at the hotel. Overall a lovely place to stay."
"Our experience in Bungalow was excellent from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their service was consistently exceptional. The room was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Overall, a wonderful stay that I’d gladly recommend to others, and I would choose this place again without hesitation."
"Our stay was quite magical with exquisite sunset views each evening and an unforgettable experience with every staff interaction. We had delicious food, drinks, and every latte was professional quality. Every time we had a question, it was met with patience and care. Our room was cleaned daily and we were given everything we needed to have an incredible time during our stay in Uluwatu.
My only wish is about the spa experience: it would be nice if they stocked water for the guests, and if they did a full mani/Pedi with cuticle care, and deep foot scrub to really get through the dead skin.
The girls doing the massage were awesome and so sweet, but I'm afraid they don't understand what a Lymphatic massage entails. I was hoping for some lymphatic drainage of my face also. It was a pretty good deep tissue massage, however.
After a massage, especially a Lymphatic massage, water is essential and it was disappointing that I had to wait to get back to my room to hydrate my body.
The reflexology massage was pretty similar. I would recommend that the spa offers what they know instead of these options, until the staff is trained."
"Constant construction directly under my „superior room“ that was not advertised or spoken about that ran from 10am-4pm everyday, besides that everything was good"
"My wife and I arrived at about 3.30pm to check in. There was no concierge to greet their guests and assist with their luggage. There was no one there to greet guests offering welcome drinks, towels etc. we found our way to another room where there was 2 bottles of water sitting in a bucket of melted ice water which was warm, there was only one clean glass to serve yourself.
There were people waiting around in the lobby and lots of luggage around waiting to be checked in.
Check in time is at 3pm, at 3.45 pm we were told that our room is not ready and should be ready in about 10 minutes. At 4.15 I approached the reception asked if our room was ready, it wasn’t. We have been on the road since 10 am on the day and were desperate to get into our room and have a shower and rest. It was about 5pm before we were told that our room was ready.
I believe that the hotel is understaffed and very badly managed. This is an international 5* branded resort however in my opinion it is not worthy of that rating, I will not be staying at this resort again and do not recommend it however with a better management and better trained staff could turn this around."
"Not a 5 star resort. Building was very dated and clearly needs a refurb. View ruined by construction sites and the pool looked a bit dirty. Staff were nice but the dining area looked tacky for a 5 star. Miles away from the main area and the dreamland beach was anything but a dream. The car park and surrounding area has turned into decay. For the price it isn’t woeful but there’s definitely better options out there."
