"Only issue was breakfast options were waffles, toast, muffin or cereal and they had 1 waffle machine and batter dispenser was broken and people having to wait 15+ minutes to get to the waffle making machine."
"It was an ok stay for one night, but anymore than that we would have been a bit more unhappy. In the room everything felt damp to touch, including all the bedding, then in the elevator you could literally hear water running (we even asked other guests if they heard it and they did), then in the gym there was water dripping from the vent register. Other than the extreme water moisture everywhere, everything else was as expected."
"The beds were terribly uncomfortable. In addition on the radiator popped up in the middle of of the night and for some reason, the room got extremely hot at night as well, no matter how many times we turned it down"
"Staff very friendly, I ended up checking out a day early because there were roaches crawling around the floor in my room, the air-conditioner did not work so it was hot and the ground felt gross to walk on. 1 weird thing that happened mid morning was some guy who said he was maintenance wanted to come in and check the TV. The TV was fine I didnt complain about that at all. I told him I was good but knocked 3 more times saying maintenance. I didnt open the door just told him no and after 3 minutes he left."
"Large facility in relatively quiet area. Nice amenities. Primary complaint is that the room smelled like cigarettes smoke although it was a non-smoking room. The restaurant looked nice but was unused. The coffee shop had odd hours and often was closed at lunch which is when conference attendees would have appreciated it being open. Also, not enough bathrooms in the conference area. Perhaps needs an update to remove/make the restaurant smaller and provide more bathrooms and a lunch/snack area that is open while conferences are scheduled."
Courtyard by Marriott Kansas City Overland Park/Metcalf
8/10 Good
"Room was nice but found a long fake fingernail and a chip bag between the nightstand and bed.
Surprise $12 fee for parking per stay. Bed was comfortable."
