"This is a nice hotel but has one major drawback for disabled guests. The breakfast room is on the first floor of an annex attached to the hotel which has no lift access. We were told there were about 20 stairs to climb, which was impossible for my disabled partner to negotiate. To combat this a very helpful member of staff brought us down everything we required into the bar area. We were also offered the choice of having breakfast served in our room without a tray charge. However, as this is a buffet breakfast, I would have preferred to have been able to sit in the breakfast room and see exactly what was on offer. Other than that (and the £12 parking charge) we were happy with the standard of food served, the level of customer service and the hotel itself."

"Fabulous experience at the Glasshouse. Lovely room, wide range of classes and such tasty, nutrtious food. Visited in September for a few days midweek and found a very relaxed, peaceful retreat. It offers a great opportunity to detox if that's what you want, or a luxurious treat to have 3 couse dinners and wine if you don't. The staff are all friendly and helpful and offer taster sessions for things like Tai Chi and Cryotherapy alongside traditional spa treatments. A nice touch was a dining table for solo travellers if you want some company with your meal."

"The room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable, although the room was small, and if you ended up stuck inside, you’d quickly become claustrophobic. Likewise, the picture used to advertise the hotel is not a picture of any public or restaurant space in the hotel building, but a picture of the pub/restaurant 150 feet away. There is no public space you can hang out in within the hotel building. The price could not be beat, however. The fan for the bathroom was totally ineffective and made the entire room very humid. The bathroom was adapted to be accessible, but that also made it difficult to climb in the elevated tub. And I found it interesting that while you certainly could get a wheelchair in the bathroom, there was nowhere else in the bedroom one could maneuver. There’s also a lack of space to stow belongings, especially for more than one person. The breakfast is very good and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location means you can walk to several restaurants and cafes, and a bus stop in Festival Leisure. "
