"The staff is nice, but our room 204 smelled like mold, the smell was so bad that we couldn’t sleep with AC on…we had to open the door and we had to check out after first night, hard to rate rest of the hotel and staff (all seemed ok), but I was not expecting that place with rating over 9 will have such a room."

"By far one of the best apartments I had in any of my trips abroad! Big, comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, air conditioner in every room (that freeze up the air in no time, despite the 34 degrees outside!), two balconies and a huge yard to have friends over (in this case - my sister's family that also visited Kala Nera). "Booked this hotel 10 minutes before arriving at their door due to onward ferry being fully booked at Volos Port. It was ok and clean. However no bar or breakfast available. Couldn't even get a bottle of water for the room. There was a slight hiccup over the payment. We had paid for 2 rooms but hotelier thought we had only paid for 1 room. After a long call to Hotels.com (who were amazing) they sorted it out and the hotelier was then all smiles. Left early morning and had breakfast at the Port....
