"Beautiful cozy warm clean cabin in an idyllic pretty location, remote and quiet but within 2 miles of Luosto centre with restaurants, supermarket, ski slope and gift shop. Taxis limited. Shower and sauna fantastic, do need to go outside to get to it but they provided croc type shoes for you. Customer service responded quickly to messages via the hotel.com app. Saw the Northern Lights dancing above our cabin on the first night, absolutely amazing above the snowy trees. "Glass Igloos and surrounding were amazing! Nice location with Ski resorts, restaurants and bus stops nearby. A bit of walk for Supermarket. Igloos have all necessary stuff with proper heating. Lots of Finnish varieties in Breakfast. It’s based in Luosto which is a quiet place with wilderness unlike other crowded places which is a huge plus. Overall enjoyable experience and highly recommended!"

"This room was supposed to minimalistic and easy for an overnight stay to break up a trip. It was not easy. I arrived to the property without any information being sent re:accessing my room or the key. The number on the door was incorrect and took me to a person not the hotel. I contacted hotels.com via chat and got a call from someone from the hotel. They gave me the correct to the lockbox and I got my key. Despite only being a few hours after the start of check in, the lobby was locked - which means the elevator was locked. I had looked ahead to ensure it had an elevator so this was incredibly discouraging. We lugged our suitcases up a small spiral, marble and slippery staircase. Our room was simple and clean but lacked more than one outlet. The sink filled upon first use and didn’t really drain. By the time we left we were using the shower to wash our hands. Breakfast was a large spread but the quality of the food was not where I preferred it to be. We ate a few bites and then went back to the room to pack and leave. The elevator was unlocked for our morning departure, which was helpful. I would not stay here again. I would drive from Saariselka to Rovaniemi and skip the overnight. It was like staying in a dorm room. If that’s what you want - you’ll be very happy… provided the sink drains."

Whilst watching the lights we got ourselves locked out when the cabin door shut after us so make sure you snip the door or take key outside!! Sent a message to customer service (phone number didn’t work for us) and they responded sending a maintenance man to let us back in within an hour (90 euro fee). Did a few activities in the area led by local guides and walks in the beautiful white landscape. Overall we loved our stay and wish it could have been longer. "
