"Food is excellent and beds are very comfy. It's old-fashioned in that it's a conversion of an older building, so windows are single-glazed and the doors open with actual keys. But the rooms have everything you'd expect from a professionally run establishment. Staff are all friendly and professional though you sometimes have to seek them out – hardly surprising as there are only six rooms so they can't have someone permanently on duty."

"Stayed 2 nights as we were dj ing at the Grannell saturday night which is 3 hours from home. Key code system on all doors which is easy to follow. Rooms were clean and have tv, tea coffee facilities, also lots of hanging space. Beds were comfy. This is a pub with a restaurant, we dined twice and the food was phenomenal, the sunday carvery was excellent. Good choice of drinks. The whole team and regulars made us feel welcome for the whole time we were there. The staff and management couldnt do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable. The function room is really pretty. We will definitely be staying again when over there working next"

"Booked a family room and wasn't disappointed a double with two singles with plenty of space, this hotel is brilliant staff where excellent & the cleaners deserve a mention the hotel is kept spotless.we had a brilliant four nights great family walks outside the hotel which includes seal & dolphin watching. Defiantly stay again in the future."
