"The staff, especially Jarrita, were so helpful and hospitable. She was able to assign the room location I was seeking and checked in on me a couple of times. I also think she was working several shifts, so give her a raise :) My room was very quiet and I was able to get work done and rest well without disturbance. The only reason I gave four stars is that the rooms could use a renovation, new carpet, upgraded bedding, drapes, etc. Everything was fairly worn and would love to see improvements - you've got great staff, would be great to bring the rooms up to par. The location was perfect for my work visit, easy off the interstate and adjacent to alot of food and shopping options. Overall a good stay!"
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Louisville Northeast
10/10 Excellent
"Loved the bed, very soft! The only thing I would have liked, would be to have lotion available in the bathroom. It was very clean. Beautiful lobby, outside seating area, & even a grill."
"This was one of the few rooms left in town for Madison Regatta 2026. Pretty standard for a pet friendly hotel, we were traveling without our dog, definitely in need of a massive remodel. Front desk had a left over Covid glass in place, so communication required asking for repeats at loud volumes coupled with several middle eastern accents it was frustrating to try and communicate. Enclosed pool was not vented nor air conditioned, it was stifling to even walk in the door. Lots of trash in weight room and pool area. Room was old, threadbare, dirty crevices throughout, with a noisy AC that cycled constantly, which turned out to be a plus to drown out most of the parking lot/highway noise. Definitely not worth the money, but we didn't really have a choice. Next time I'll bite the bullet, reserve 6 months early, and stay at Riverboat Inn or the horribly overpriced Fairfield by Marriot on the river."
"We enjoyed our stay at Riverboat Inn in Madison, IN. We had a small poolside room that was clean and very quiet - great for relaxing. The continental breakfast was sufficient for us as we are not big breakfast eaters, and we enjoyed having coffee on the deck overlooking the Ohio River. The staff was very friendly, as were the other guests that we interacted with many of whom were already booking rooms for the same time next year. We weren’t aware when we booked our room that they have hydroplane races and other events on the 4th of July weekend. We look forward to visiting again."
