"Staff were great. We stayed in the Lapwings and it was gorgeous. Everything we needed. Pool was a good temp and we picked the right rime when it was quiet. Jacuzzi was fab. Thoroughly enjoyed our atay and would definitely stay again. The only thing i would say is brighter lights are needed at the entrance please as it is easy to miss."

"We stayed for a family outing. The room was clean and spacious for a family of 4. Also the hotel is in walkable distance to city centre (20min) and beach. The staff was really good and accommodating. Love to visit again."

"The disgusting state of the bathroom overshadowed any plus points in this room. View would have been good if the windows weren’t filthy. Only positive was the lady overseeing breakfast, very friendly and helpful. Signage outside says there is a lift but this doesn’t work. Would not stay here again. "

"The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Devil's Bridge and the surrounding area. We visited the Elan Valley dams and reservoirs, the Silver Mountain and Aberystwyth. The Hotel looks stunning from the outside and inside. A lot of care has gone into every detail of the hotel. Our room was on the top floor. It was very cool and quirky, just a little bit musty smelling. (We couldn't open the windows without a load of bugs flying in so had to keep them closed unfortunately.) The bathroom looked cool but there was nowhere to put anything! Our arrival wasn't the best. We had travelled a fair distance and arrived at 7, when staff were busy with dinner. We rang the bell a few times, we were ignored by staff rushing around with dinner and drinks orders. I asked someone at the bar for help, who said they would ask someone to come and see to us. We kept waiting and eventually I managed to stop someone who just gave us the key card and told us our room was on the top floor. But then, the complete opposite service occurred on our second and third nights when one particular member of staff was really kind, friendly and helpful when we were looking to get a table for dinner. I forgot to get her name but she was amazing and really made our stay. "

"Clean room. Frirndly staff. Located in a pretty village with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes. Close to Hafren Forest, Elan Valley."

"The “spa” and “gym” were a hot tub and a dark room full of miscellaneous junk which wasn’t conducive for relaxing."

"Room was spacious, we had a double bed and one single bed with ensuite facilities. Has hangers, extra blanket, extra heating facility, hit railing in ensuite, walk in shower. Ensuite was quite spacious.Bedside tables have lamps and drawers. Holy Bible is available. Tv wouldn't work for us, some issues with yv which we reported. Staff are extremely professional and warm. Breakfast is full English with cereal, fresh fruit, juices as options. Staff are so efficient, working on their toes but smiling throughout to serve and ensure breakfast goes on smooth for eveeyone. WiFi worked fine.They have a bar, restaurant too. For fanilies who get takeaway there are tables down stairs or can do room service from them too. Street parking was free but confirm once again. Hotel parking is first come, first served basis.. We travelled from Newcastle upon Tyne and missed it. "
