"Stayed here for a business trip. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The lobby felt bright, modern, and gave a good first impression. The room itself was clean, although there was a noticeable damp smell on arrival. The bathroom was also clean but felt a little dated and could benefit from a refresh. The bed was comfortable enough for a short stay. One challenge was the lighting — the room felt quite dark even with all the lights on, which made getting ready and doing makeup difficult. The bathroom lighting was also quite dull and not ideal. The main downside was the noisy ventilation system. As the weather was cold, switching it off wasn’t really an option, but the constant noise did make sleeping more difficult. Breakfast was the usual standard expected from Crowne Plaza — a self-service buffet with a good selection. The restaurant staff were welcoming and pleasant, which was a nice start to the day. Overall, a reasonable stay for a business trip, with friendly staff and clean facilities, but improvements to lighting, ventilation noise, and bathroom updates would enhance the experience."

"The hotel is OK but looking very tired. I opted for the Executive room which didn't match the description on Hotels.com. When checking with reception I was advised that the room I was in was correct, which it definitely wasn't. As it was late in the day I didn't have the energy to debate. In the morning I discovered my shower didn't work as the heat adjustment knob was broken so after wasting 15 minutes I had to run a bath. When mentioning to the lady on reception she wasn't bothered and just asked if I was checking out today??? Overall it was OK, not great though and I won't be returning."

"We had a great two night stay at the hotel. The hotel itself was clean and welcoming and our room faultless, a really great space to work and relax. We used the health club facilities on the Friday night and the supervisor was excellent; very welcoming and helpful. The facilities were a little dated and tired in places but we enjoyed the use of them. Overall a good experience. "

"Sadly the pool was out of action during our stay although arrangements were made to use another hotel a 5 minute drive away. We were disappointed with in room facilities - the fridge had been removed and toiletries were very basic, shampoo no condition, shower gel no body lotion, no shower cap - definitely felt like costs were being cut!"

"We had a lovely couple of nights at the White Hart. Very good meals (breakfast and dinner) and helpful staff. The room had quirks not unexpected in an old hotel (eg. slopey floors!) but was comfortable, nicely decorated and equipped)."

"Friendly check in with Dylan and Aiden. Modern style hotel, very spacious. With a health club and spa which we didn’t have time to use but we could see people arriving to make use of. Good size restaurant and bar area. Menu a little limited for the restaurant but it was okay. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom clean although shower not very powerful. It was an overnight stop so more than okay for that. Staff were friendly and helpful. "

"I stayed for my birthday yesterday and had the best time. Amazing food in the restaurant and breakfast was also good The staff are really helpful and friendly Lovely garden outside The coffee Lodge is a nice cosy spot The room we stayed at was 217 and it was better than expected, the bathroom was spotless and the bed was comfy, the interior was so stunning. I would definitely stay here again "
