"Beautiful property with well maintained landscape and tasteful decor. Great views of the lake and the meandering canal thru the property. The restaurant has a wide selection of food, especially Kerala specialties. Staff are courteous and attentive. All in all the best place we (family of four) stayed in during our India trip. "Very nice, very quiet property. The entrance is not very conspicuous for first timers. When we were there, there was some construction going on, so it was understandable that some areas were not as clean. However, this also affected the path to the in-house restaurant making the approach unpleasant and little things like these are not very difficult to manage even with the construction going on, and it was a bit of a surprise. Rooms and facilities were excellent otherwise, food was good, staff pleasant."

Some things were worn down, like the gym and the room doors, but the hotel made up for these problems with its beauty, swimming pool, delicious food and excursions (we had luck to take a canal trip at sunset and got to see a variety of exotic birds like a purple heron and several kinhfishers.) We were among very few foreign guests and really liled that."
