"My wife and I have been traveling up and down the PNW coast for a few years now, and stayed at dozens of hotels. The Bowline Hotel in Astoria is our new favorite! We checked in, fully intending to leave and explore Astoria, but after seeing the hotel and our rooms we decided to just stay in. The room was beautiful, with a great view of the river, and nice decor, as well as a large bath. We ended up not even leaving our room, just ordering room service (which was delicious) and some cocktails (also fantastic). Our room faced the river, and we woke up early enough to watch the sea lions that sleep under the pier swim out below our balcony, it was a fantastic experience! "

"My partner and I booked this motel for a romantic weekend of cooking breakfast together before exploring the Oregon coast, coming back in the evening to roam the streets of Astoria. The rooms were excellent and recently renovated, the property manager was kind and got us all the cooking supplies we needed, and the experience exceeded all of our expectations- especially for the price. "We liked the firepit and the pond. The cottage is cute and well- stocked. It was not cleaned well after the last guest. We found food in two different areas. The carpets had not been vacuumed. We couldn't find kitchen towels and the tvs were difficult to use."
