"We had a bay view room which looked directly out onto the harbour which was lovely to wake up to
The room was spotlessly clean and modern with everything we needed built in. The tea and coffee station was tucked away nicely and there was a full size fridge with a freezer in. We found this excellent as we were travelling so it gave us a good opportunity to freeze our ice packs for the cool bag and chill our drinks down for when we set off again in the morning.

"This hotel is very convenient for Aberdeen railway station. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, although the temperature controls didn't seem to work in my room.
A very good selection of items were available for the breakfast buffet.
All the members of staff I met were very friendly. I will certainly stay here again."

"Pleasantly surprised with the facility. Nice spacious room, well appointed but food in the adjoining restaurant is just ok, carvery looked good but cold, breakfast was fairly tasteless. Spoiled what would have been a very pleasant stay."

"Beautiful building in a fantastic location. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are large and comfortable. However, the overall cleanliness could be improved — the carpets and some furniture surfaces did not seem thoroughly cleaned, which was a bit disappointing.
There is a good independent restaurant in the building, although the service was quite slow. The fitness room is rather limited and could also use some improvement.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but with better attention to cleanliness and maintenance, the experience could be much better."

"Location was ideal for train and bus access. The hotel is old and the rooms are old and in need of updating but our room was clean. The common areas (reception and restaurant) were updated at some point. They do provide a nice breakfast and food was fresh and hot. Staff were very pleasant and helpful "
