"Cannot say enough about our lovely stay at Casart - it was a dream. Gorgeous space with comfortable cabins that were perfect for our family of 3, a lovely central lodge overlooking a busy watering hole, absolutely delicious food, and most importantly an incredibly warm and welcoming staff. We would have stayed much longer if we had the vacation days! Highly recommended if you are looking to stay in a park, but the Krueger lodges are out of range. "

"This is a small lodge with only 4 huts, so it's a wonderful experience if you want to escape the Kruger crowds. Accommodations are comfortable and well maintained. Food is amazing; home cooked with a fantastic attention to detail. Owners are friendly and engaging. Highly recommend taking the optional game drive with the owner; you won't regret it. "The room was very small but adequate for a stop over but I did expect a little bigger. Was also clean and we were not at all cold. But it doesn’t really feel like a “guesthouse”. A) it seems more like they just built some rooms in their backyard and accommodate people for extra money - there is no breakfast option etc. but mostly B) the hostess was really not friendly and did not make us feel welcome at all. "Staying with the sisters who run the property and the other staff became increasingly pleasant with every passing day. Plus, I was more than comfortable in my room, where they don't skimp on pillows for those of us who like to sit up in bed to work. There's no generator on the premises for the load-shedding but that's normal for comparable properties. Just stay atune to the schedule is what I learned in southern Africa."

"There was no water and this wasn't explained to us. Also Google maps directed us in a way that took us on a road with unmarked huge speed bumps that damaged the car. Should put a warning about that for sure. Grounds were nice and the place was clean and comfortable."
