The host was incredibly communicative throughout our entire stay, from pre-arrival to departure. The location was perfect, with supermarkets and shopping centers nearby, and just a 12-minute walk to the town center. The apartment was beautifully presented, featuring a lovely shared pool and equipped with everything we needed. We'll definitely be staying here again on our next visit.

I clicked quiet. There were some dogs barking at night, but overall it is a very quiet neighborhood. The place is very nice and clean and they do the cleaning very neatly. My brother lost one of the keys and the owner of the appartment was very kind to bring a spare key to us!! Overall the communication through phone as through the expedia chat was very pleasant in my opinion. There is also a swimming pool and a barbecue you can make use of. The use of tv and wifi was also very pleasant to use. Even though it was hot, there was a good working ac in the house who made everything bearable when it was hot outside. All in all I found it a great experience which the owner made sure my siblings and I had! Thank you very much for the pleasant stay!

À savoir avant de réserver : Le logement se situe dans l’ancien hôtel Tamarind, désormais transformé en résidence avec quelques locations de vacances. L’appartement est spacieux et bien agencé, idéal pour un séjour fonctionnel. Environnement : Selon la saison, des odeurs de sargasses provenant de la plage voisine peuvent se faire sentir en journée. Et la nuit, le calme est souvent perturbé par les aboiements répétés de chiens du voisinage, rendant le repos difficile — surtout après une journée d’activités sportives. À noter côté salle de bain : Le bac de douche ne dispose pas de siphon, ce qui permet aux blattes de remonter par l’évacuation si celle-ci n’est pas bouchée. Le cache en caoutchouc fourni n’est pas suffisant pour les empêcher de passer. Nous avons dû ajouter une ventouse pour renforcer la fermeture. Conclusion : Un logement pratique, mais quelques points à connaître pour éviter les mauvaises surprises et mieux anticiper son séjour.

Close to Philipsburg and Great Bay beach

We stayed in a nice one bedroom apartment with additional upper loft bedroom which we did not use. Full size fridge, microwave, two burners, coffee maker, kettle and plates, cups, utensils provided. We used pots, pans to cook our own meals which saved on our meal costs. Supermarket and Great Bay beach are about 1.2 km away. Nice grounds with lots of vegetation. Chrissy was our host and looked after all of our needs. Excellent value for money when you consider the high costs in St Martin.
