The staff here are really great. I had a small lost property issue at the airport and they really helped me resolve it… went above and beyond. Room was clean and quiet and very central if you like nightlife, but local to most things and near the river if you want a wonder …

The Golden House International Hotel is an excellent family run hotel right in the middle of the Riverside action. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The appearance is Khmer rather than ‘international’ and the beds are a little firm. Bathrooms are old fashioned but perfectly functional. It’s not for everyone, if you’re looking for a quiet serene retreat this isn’t for you. But if you like night action and appreciate very good value, you can’t really go wrong with this hotel.

Selon votre site de réservation, le petit déjeuner devait être compris. Or on nous l’a refusé prétextant que le contrat ne le stipulait pas. J’ai vérifié mon contrat et effectivement ce n’est pas inscrit. Je pense que c’est la faute d’Expedia qui devrait soit modifier son offre, soit changer son contrat. Dans mon cas je crois que c’est de la fausse représentation de votre part car j’ai payé pour un service qui ne m’a pas été rendu.

Nice hotel in a very lively part of town, but surprisingly little disturbance from the streets outside. Good value, and if you want to stay in the heart of the nightlife, it'd be hard to pick a better choice.

Location was excellent. Lobby was a bit run down, old style, but adequate for the price range. Staff family (?) and baby sleeping on the lobby floor, in bedding, at most hours of the day was a bit disconcerting and unprofessional. Made it seem like more of a family hostel than an actual hotel. Staff was attentive and helpful however. It's in a girly bar district, and caters to girly bar customers. Expect nothing more, nothing less.

Nice hotel close to nightlife on Street 136

Nice staff, very friendly and helpful. Nice selection of food at very good cheap prices. The room was clean if a bit plain. They have secure Wi-Fi and power outlets for standard U.S. powercords (220V, 50hz) which some of the fancier more expensive hotels don't.

Got a room with no windows, which was good because of all the noisy pubs nearby. Room was comfortable and clean, and had a combination safe and a small fridge. Breakfast was decent with omelet, juice, toast, and tea, and can be delivered to the room. Hotel staff was very helpful and spoke English well. Located close to the river and many restaurants and bars.

Good choice for centrally located hotel

Good hotel located right in the middle of the action. Just a block or so away from the river. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Rooms are adequate and clean. Small issue with the in room safe. They are older and sometimes not easy to opperate. Also epips be nice to have more than one coffee included in breakfast. Overall great stay and would recommend.

Die Lage war sehr gut in 5 Minuten ist man am Mekong. Bars und Restaurants giebt es auch überall um das Hotel herum. Das Personal war freundlich und das Hotelzimmer ordentlich und sauber

Nice hotel close to the riverside

The hotel was close to everything. I had the basic room, it had no windows and was on the small side. The nightlife was on the door stop but since my room had no windows I did not have any noise problem. The hotel should have key cards to open doors but still uses the old fashioned key. There mini market near where you can buy water,juice etc.
