Great location , very friendly staff , good food , fabulous roof top swimming pool , great value for money , spacious rooms , spa and gym ,everything you need to enjoy your time in the wonderful city of Phnom Penh
I’ve been coming to Cambodia for 10 years and seem to be in constant search of the the perfect hotel- this is it! The location is ideal for first time or veteran visitors. Having both the Penh house and Jungle Addition as separate facilities gives a variety of options as guests have access to both. The breakfast is great and service is fantastic. Both pools are well maintained and the views from the roof cannot be beat. Staff are very willing to help with any need. This has become my go-to spot for the last 2 years and I’ll never stay anywhere else when in Phnom Penh.
Beautiful room overlooking a very quiet back lane. One small criticism was that my room was directly under the bar/restaurant area so on a couple of mornings the tables and chairs were moved about at 5.20am.
Very nice hotel, clean and the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was great, lots of choices. Bit far from everything which became expensive. There was no deli or little market stalls anywhere nea us
We liked the pool! The location of the hotel was quite convenient too.

Dear Madam/Sir.
Thank you very much for your love stay at Penh House & Jungle Addition.
Hope we can host you the next future.
Have a wonderful day!
Best,
Fary
I stayed at this place because of the Phnom Penh Half Marathon. I think was a short distance to the royal palace which I appreciated. The Poole was nice and the room was wonderful. I am definately coming back.
The only issue I had was the room temperature. I checked in at 2pm, but we went out and came back in the evening. The room was warm and it took awhile for the room to cool down. Cambodia is a warm country. I told the reception that it would have been nice if I was able to leave the key card and have the AC going. He apologized.
Other than that, it was a wonderful place to stay.
We stayed at the Jungle Addition, which is a separate charming building about a 5 minute walk from Penh House. There are stairs and no elevators at Jungle Addition which could be an issue for those with a lot of luggage. (Though Penh House has an elevator.) The Deluxe double room we had was tastefully decorated with mid-century furnishings, very spacious, with a modern bathroom. We enjoyed the unlimited breakfast in the morning. We used the roof-top pool at Penh House instead of the one at Jungle Addition. Service was pleasant. The location is excellent, walking distance to a lot of cool, artsy cafes. Not far from the Riverside either.
fantastic colonial villa for the stay. We stayed in the jungle suite and the room was spacious and quiet. Lots of charm. The jungle addition was in located in the small alley so no traffic noise at all. We also had the use of the modern penh house facilities (rooftop bar, infinity swimming pool etc etc) Best of both worlds. Breakfast was huge!
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Great place, be prepared to travel in a tuk tuk for $2 to find anything decent around though. Hotel and staff are excellent though. Breakfast and pool brilliant.
Great hotel. This is a brand new hotel. We spent a week here and are going back for 1 night after spending a few days in Kep. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Good air con, bed firm but comfortable. Good shower, good breakfast, but the egg chief needs a little training. The pool is fantastic and the staff are lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Big disappointment, room not remotely like pics.
Disappointing. My room had no pretty tiled floors or pleasant garden view, but two large windows facing a concrete wall eliminating any natural light, so the room was essentially a stylish dark bunker. I should have complained, but was exhausted and just passed out in minutes. A classic bait and switch false advertising ploy. You will not find pics of this room anywhere on the webpage. My money was wasted. Grounds were pleasant, but if you walked left out the front door, that half of the street was always piled with rotting garbage. You can imagine the stench. Otherwise, general location is quite good. Pleasant staff. Odd breakfast. You are given a set with many items that I didn't even want or eat. Seems wasteful. Poor idea.
My sixth hotel in PNH and probably (just) my favorite so far.
Located in a quiet lane on the edge of the "tourist" area and to the rear of the Grand Palace. I had a comfortable ground floor room (#11) adjacent to the pool area. Room functions and amenities good. Poolside breakfast was tasty Continental or Asian menu. The pool is a reasonable size given the limited space.
My only caution is that if you arrive at night, the hotel can be hard to find as the Name Plate is in shadow. My Tuk Tuk driver went around the block twice before he found the place (after asking direction). However, The Villa Grange next door is well illuminated.
I recommend Phen House to other travellers and I will probably return next year.
Very nice stay at this beautiful hotel. Friendly service, very good and generous breakfast, nice pool and good location. The alley in which it is located could benefit from a clean up otherwise everything else A+

Private sanctuary in Phnom Penh
We arrived at Jungle addition on the 244 street (as Penh house is being built 2 doors away) and were very happy with the suite we had booked even though the bathroom is a little squeezy. Jungle additions is a 1940's villa turned into a small hotel. The pool was nice and limited food service was fine as there are some good inexpensive places on 240 street (1 block away) as well as a very good french restaurant for the special occasion (lunch special $14/ dinner from $49 pp). lots of cheap street food up the road (50 to 100 meters). Staff are very helpful. Breakfast is a little odd in that a tray is served with many things not wanted (and presumably wasted). We recommend checking if any building works are going on as Central Phnom Penh is a very busy place. Later we realised that our hotel had minor renovations happening in some rooms away from us which meant outside areas had cement tracked all over from workers shoes and around pool needed proper cleaning to bring it back to a great clean quality. And building work also was taking place on the street and across the street which was unfortunate and sometimes noisy during day. At night it was very quiet at the hotel. Penh House looks to be a modern apartment/ hotel building when finished soon.
Tres bel hotel. Design parfait.
