Stayed at this basic hotel for three nights. Spacious room. Could do with a repaint. Nice breakfast in courtyard cooked to order. Good location near river and Royal Palace. A good price. They had their own tuk tuk driver (Un) who was very nice and trustworthy. We hired him to take us to The Killing Fields and Genocide Museum and we waited for us and charged us for the round-trip. Would recommend doing that.

OK stay
We had a nice time here, room was adequate but was a more expensive one, though there were a few issues, like: only friendly staff at check-in/reception; breakfast basic OK though grumblings when asking for another coffee; a sewer type smell in the room a few times; almost no water one day; room was boiling and minibar was off upon arrival.

Great staff who went above and beyond to be helpful - even storing our bags after we’d checked out in the morning. Breakfast was filling. It’s a good jumping off point to see much of the city on foot as markets aren’t far away. They also state they will call reputable tuk tuks but I didn’t have need of this service. The shower was a bit tricky and there’s no shower curtain so much of the room got wet (including the toilet paper but that was operator error). It got fairly cool which was a bit interrupted when we left as the key card went with us so the air had to start over after a day out.

Exceptional Phnom Penh Experience!
Everything from start to finish was great! They also assisted with finding accomodations for the entire month I am staying in Phnom Penh. I strongly recommend this property for it's service, location, and overall travel experience!

Central location. Quiet after 11pm. Red, the tuktuk driver was reliable and inexpensive. Comfortable room without common walls. Staff carried my bags for me.

Nice hotel in center of the city
The hotel is few blocks away from Central Market. Though the entrance is small that you may not notice it for the first visit. Friendly staff, nice room, good quality breakfast at a amazingly reasonable price. I will definitely go back for spending next vacation.

Having stayed in Phnom Penh numerous times over the last 8 years, this is the best hotel I have stayed at. Location is great, staff very helpful and spoke good English. Good breakfast and coffee. I had a family room - huge but not expensive. 2m bath - I could lay down in it! I enjoyed everything about this hotel.

Worst Hotel Experience in 90 Countries of Travel
I booked this hotel because of the positive reviews but left 2 days early. The checkin experience was brusque, impatient & unwelcoming; I was rushed to sign a document when wanting to read it first. I asked if we were in a quiet room as requested at time of booking & received the reply, "It's a hotel, there are people coming and going". I had to clarify I was referring to things like building noise & loud music. I was taken aback by the attitude of the manager in this exchange. We returned to the room for an afternoon sleep only to be awoken repeatedly by building work directly next to our room behind the boundary screen - a loud machine saw. The room was also below standard: aircon ineffective & grubby (white stains on red cushions, thick layer of dust on picture frames). The defensive attitude of the manager earlier gave me little hope of resolving any issues at the hotel & reluctantly decided to book another elsewhere, notifying the hotel via this site & stating that the noise went beyond normal hotel comings and goings. I requested a refund. Checkout the next day: the manager talked over me & actually became provocative: "Good luck at finding a quiet hotel in Phnom Penh", "no, I'm not going to listen to you" and "give me the key". When I said I'd write a review he threatened, "do it, I'll just delete it". I wished him a happy new year & left with him still ranting at me in my direction. The most extraordinary hotel experience I've had in 90 countries of travel.

The property is in a great location that is tucked away from the main street. It is close to attractions such as the Royal Palace and markets. Staff are helpful and accommodating. The building is mainly concrete so the rooms are quite sound proof. The room with twin beds is spacious with a small sitting area. The mattress is very firm for my taste. The washroom is separated by a curtain from the room and has a tub as the shower. Water from the shower is ecofriendly so is not hot. The TV plays a channel with American movies. Breakfast is either Khmer or Western style. Overall a good stay. And it was nice to meet the owner. I would return and hoping for a mattress topper on my next stay!

We loved staying here! It’s in a great location but kind of tucked away so very quiet at night! The breakfast was wonderful! We ended up booking it again for our last night back in the city. I would highly recommend it!

Great location within easy walking distance to the Riveraide. 2 security guys always at the front as there is a small lane to walk down so saftey is no issue - no one is in the lane which is only anout a 30 myr walk to the reception desk and steps to rooms. 3 floors but no lift but does have ground floor rooms for any that can’t use stairs. As is the case everywhere in Cambodia, the Cambodian staff were all very obliging, friendly amd very helpful.

Great find in Phnom Penh
Our room was spacious and clean and quiet, with lovely linens and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely - good coffee! Staff was incredibly helpful and attentive.

A real hidden gem
Stayed at this hotel whilst in Cambodia. Wow a little piece of tranquil beauty in a bustling city. Facilities, rooms and breakfast were very good and one of the best on our travels. The hotel staff are very helpful and are happy to answer and advise any questions you may have. The y also have some tuc tuc's who happily wait outside the hotel until needed but were some of the most friendly people and in my opinion some of he safest drivers in the city.

Woke up by construction noise at 7-8am and continued throughout the weekend. Was having high expectations that room will be quiet. Not for light sleeper! Room was clean and well maintained. Water heater was not working, too hot and became too cold/room temp, unable to adjust. Aircon took some time to cool the room, small aircon for the size (35m2). Open toilet concept, not fully enclosed. Shower will be cold as part of the wall opened to the room. One of the worse experience!

A Hidden Wonder!
I love the idea of using solar energy to heat the water, but it would have been nice if it was heated a litter quicker. It is advertised as a gay/gay friendly hotel, yet the owner did not know anything about the gay scene. I could understand if he did not participate in it, but it would have been nice if he could have provided some direction, details or answers to some of the questions that we had.

Very friendly staff and owners. Probably one of the most welcoming hotels i have ever stayed in. The decor and ambiance is fantastic and it's obvious that a lot of thought and care has been put into the design and build of the premises. Nice location quiet but central, and near the national museum and a short stroll to the waterfront for cocktails at sunset. Highly recommended

This hotel was an excellent location for us to explore Phnom Penh for a first time traveler. It was easy to walk out the entrance into the streets, and quickly access multiple points of interest. The hotel itself is nicely hidden off of the street, and this keeps the small 'boutique' feel. The staff was excellent in service, although we struggled a couple of times with the language barrier. The staff attempted (very hard) to ensure everything exceeded our expectations. I was disappointed, though, as this hotel was listed as a gay-friendly place, but the owner and staff really couldn't provide any information about the local area (not just gay nightlife, but in general uninformed of local happenings). It would seem that being so close to nightlife and the bustling events of museums and concert events that the staff would aim to be informed so as to provide those details to visiting guests. Our local information inquiry had us leaving the office more puzzled than when we went in. But, this didn't deter from the experience, nor the quality of the hotel. The shower was a handheld and is solar heated, so water is either cold or very hot (difficult to find a middle ground). I would definitely stay here again, just would not have expectations of local area guidance or advice.

Fint hotell med bra läge. Det negativa var assistenten som skulle hjälpa oss med turistinformation. Hon var inte speciellt engagerad och gav oss felaktig information flera gånger. Hon var högst obekymrad över att hon hade gjort fel.
