Very bohemian and trendy with a library and an almost imposingly eco-friendly atmosphere with signs about how to dispose of everything, yet the drain in the shower was somewhat slow and overflowing (gross), which from an eco standpoint is rather ironic. The room was comfortable, yet small, and the furnishings were not as new as some other properties. The atmosphere was quiet within the hotel, and the guests were respectful and quiet, but the property next door was under construction, and there was about three hours of drilling and sawing going on each day, luckily ending around 6 pm. The staff was very friendly and helpful - quite impressive. Overall, it was a unique boutique hotel that seems to try hard to appeal to the environmentally-conscious traveler.
I liked the book collection in the dining room - I found a book there that kept me occupied during my entire stay. I liked the other guests - quietly focused on eco projects. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Small basic rooms, but adequate for what I needed. Kind of dark though. Bed and pillows average SE Asia comfort. The staff had limited English when I had questions. Glad they were pet friendly, so thank you for that. Refillable bottles provided with filtered water in restaurant was also great. Good location and the hood in the vegetarian restaurant was good. The pumpkin amok and mango smoothies especially.
Room was like pictures provided. Property looked beautiful and has a sense of zen to it. Staff was friendly but had issues. Aircon was weak. bathroom drainage was slow so be quick with your showers or it gets flooded.
The property has a no visitors policy after 8:30 which is also the time their restaurant closes. This much I get. However, the main doors are also chained and locked at 9pm so movement is very much restricted. This was not communicated during the booking process and check in. I chose to stay close to bassac street where there’s night life and live music, I was hoping to come in and out as I needed. I am now being made to feel uneasy about staying out late cos there’s a chance of being locked out. I was left outside for a good 15 minutes on my first night not knowing of curfew, before the night watch came out and stared at me like I was inconveniencing him. Also being chained-in was a safety concern to me. Bringing this up to front desk the second day, I just wanted to know why this was not communicated at any point. And was basically told that’s how they’ve been doing it, if i want just tell the watchman (who doesn’t speak English or look too friendly) to unlock it, and i can email management to TRY to get a refund if I rather stay somewhere else. Front desk was not rude, but she also preferred to look at her laptop while I was speaking. So that left me with the sense that there was no point in saying more. My final night in Cambodia was thus spent in my room.
Noise was terrible... Hotel is situated on a small alley street with motos n tuk tuks scampering by from morning to night. The side facing the street noisy so sleeping in is not possible. Windows sucked.
Hallway noise can be heard in the room regardless of the conversation level.. nutshell, noisy... Room clean but the bathroom and everything else outdated, will not stay again.
Great place to stay. Spacious rooms, hot shower, nice (not included) vegan breakfast (try the fresh fruit). Excellent value for money!

I live in Phnom Penh and this is a wonderful place to escape to for a few days. This well-run hotel is delightful with lots of interesting areas to explore. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious and the adjoining lounges and libraries are an extra bonus. Management and staff are friendly and helpful and create a welcoming atmosphere. Overall it is excellent value for money and a great place to relax in Phnom Penh.
Was apprehensive at first as it doesn't have much kerb appeal, but once inside all was forgiven. Good staff helped us book things, good food (even if it is vegan), an excellent location near the trendy Bassac lane and easy walking (or tuktuk'ing) to sights. Not the cheapest in town, but value feels about right
Basic hotel, nothing is included I.e toothbrush ect. No tv, no fridge, they did use reusable bottles for water which is better than plastic bottles, except the bottle was dirty so didn’t drink the water!
Checkout is also 11 not 12
Was told laundry would be done same day, came to collect told it would be by 9am the next day and didn’t arrive until 10:50 so couldn’t pack my bag, good job I wasn’t getting the early 7am bus
Quiet, tasteful guesthouse located in a convenient neighborhood but still off the beaten path.

Pros: Room is big and cozy. Place is quiet and peaceful. And staff are helpful.
Cons: Location is quite hidden and not convenient if you like to walk.
Needs Improvement: Aircon is not so cool but got a big ceiling fan. I'm lucky the weather is cool during my stay so this it is ok.
