This was such a nice property to stay at for the week. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. The spa was the best! It was in a nice location that was about a $12 Uber ride away from most places. We will definitely be back!

It was disgusting! I was shocked considering it was a JW Marriott property. I arrived to my room and there was a dead roach sitting by the bed. There were other dead bugs by the front door, gnats flying around in the bathroom due to a clogged bathtub. Upon arrival the bathtub had sitting water in the tub due to the clog. The room was disgusting. I contacted the manager and asked to come see the room. He did, he was apologetic and placed me in another room.

I was not informed when I checked in there will be “resort fees”, then they charged a resort fee that is equivalent to twenty-two percent on the way out!!! They never mentioned it on the way in!!

I loved the beauty of the gardens. The restaurants are very good and the staff is so friendly and accommodating The Camelback has my soul. I wish you would change the reservation policy at the pool, especially the adult pool. All the chairs were marked reserved but no one was using them. This didn’t seem to make much sense Nick the waiter at the Jackrabbit pool was so wonderful and very attentive. I had a manicure and pedicure at the spa and Olga is so talented and wonderful There’s a lot to love at the Camelback

Room needed some attention

We love this hotel normally, but hadn’t been here for several years due to cost. But we splurged for a big celebration! While we had a great time, the room needed a a bit of updating. The bathroom had some bad floor tiles and was a bit worn looking. One of the windows was broken and could be opened but not closed unless one of us pushed from the outside. The grounds were beautiful as usual and we enjoyed eating at Rita’s.

Perfect desert getaway

We stayed in a King casita with extra large balcony. Everything was exceptional, though if the cost is a stretch for you, maybe stay in a lower priced room and make use of the beautiful grounds. The large extra balcony was nice but the furniture was sparse, there was bird poo on the chairs (to be expected, there are lots of birds whose chirping is lovely ambiance), and there was not a movable lounge umbrella, so we couldn't really use the large balcony during the day. The dining options were delicious and had wonderful healthy options. Having a Starbucks on site was great. The mini fridge and microwave was also useful to have. We went to the spa, which was a little overpriced for the services. Overall we loved staying here but likely would have picked a lower end room, saved a bit of money, and still had a great getaway.

Wie sollten über Expedia 20% Rabatt auf alle Speisen und Getränke e halten. Das bestätige man uns mehrfach am Front desk. In den jeweiligen Bereichen, wo man Speisen und Getränke ordert, wusste man davon nichts und war überfordert mit den Abrechnungen und das jedesmal, bei jeder Bestellung und jeden Tag. Am Pool sollte es den Rabatt dann plötzlich nicht auf Alkohol geben. Teilweise wurden selbst gerechnete, falsche Rabatte gegeben. Das Personal war total überfordert. Wir müssen leider sagen, dass diese Probleme an jedem Tag, den Urlaub unentspannt gemacht haben, auch wenn am Ende alle Rabatte gewährt wurden. So ein Durcheinander und Chaos, kannten wir von unseren vorherigen 4 Besuchen nicht. Zusätzlich sollte die Casita renoviert sein. Von innen ja, von außen fehlte der neue Anstrich. Man sah noch die Ausbesserungen an den Wänden, die nach einem neuen Strich dann weg sind. Schön sah das nicht aus. Wenn man die, oben geschilderten Problematik in den Griff bekommt, ist es ein wundervolles Hotel und wir kommen dann gerne wieder.

Second Stay! Excellent resort. One problem - Reserved a cabana (for a fee) for the day. Wanted shade in the 105 degree heat. The fan/mister was not working inside cabana. It was like an oven. Staff said would be fixed the next day - Never fixed all week. Otherwise a beautiful resort.
