Many shops and restaurants close by and a very short walk to the very touristy Night Markets. Also a very short walk to the fascinating local day market. The resort is very family friendly. The staff were exceptionally helpful. "

"It’s a beauty property. The residences are set back from the ocean and overlook a lagoon and villas toward the ocean and the amenities (restaurant, beach, spa) are located over at the Waverly property which is an easy 2 minute walk or 1 min golf cart ride. The residences are more quiet whereas the Waverly is more of a resort feel. Like any resort, prices for food are inflated and You are a bit isolated from pretty much anything, necessitating a taxi or Grab to go anywhere. Not unusual or unexpected. The beach is beautiful and mostly clean but we noticed a lot of trash cohorted at the base of the trees hanging closest to the ocean. To be fair, the island has a major trash problem and it’s really sad. Surely us tourists are adding to the problem. Our room smelled a bit like mothballs at first but that went away. "
