"This is a working winery and while the apartments are somewhat rustic and without air conditioning they provided much of the charm and experience that we were looking for during our stay in Tuscany. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the wines produced by the winery. Natalia and Roberta were especially friendly and helpful. "Wonderful, quiet getaway with excellent service. I'd suggest at least a 2 night stay here, and recommend checking out the small town nearby (having a rental car is a good idea). "

"Great location and clean rooms. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable . Nice breakfast spread available in the mornings. The only negative aspect was the poor WIFI signal from the room. The WIFI would cut out and not always function."

"What a great little hotel! The town is rather small and not much shops like San Gimignano, but this hotel is clean, rooms are roomy and the garden dining is out of this world. Beautiful with views of the sunset and amazing food. One of my favorite. The town has several restaurants too and some good museums. "

"Quiet, convenient to station, nice decor choices, wonderful gracious owner who cares about his hotel. Elevator, good shower, refrigerator, safe. Convenient train connections from Empoli, so would stay again!"

"This family owned villa is run by Francesca and her family. They were phenomenal. The beautiful villa was recently converted into a boutique hotel and has every state of the art amenity. The rooms were large and the bathrooms were spacious! The view from our room over the vineyard was awe inspiring. You can see the town of San Gimignano in the distance and it is just a short drive away. We picked this location because we wanted to visit the town and the Tenuta Torciano winery. It was just...

"We arrived at this hotel and we could not believe our eyes!
The building is an old convent/monastery and the rooms have all been modernised with very colourful furniture and decorated in a very unique way! The room and bathroom were quite large and they were very clean and well maintained.
There is a nearby terrace on the first floor next to the rooms where you can see Florence in the distance and also the gardens, patio and olive garden that surround the hotel.

"Stayed here as part of our honeymoon. Staff were super helpful with reservations and recommendations. The view is beautiful and the rooms are cozy. The breakfast was delicious as well."
"The property has a very Tuscan country feel and the staff was very welcoming. It was quiet and safe and the room was clean and large, bed was comfortable. I would definitely recommend a stay here, the location is a very convenient hub for branching out to see various cities in the Tuscan region."

"Wonderful staff here. Simona! Natalia! Good breakfast. Spacious rooms. Lovely area. It is remote but remote can be a wonderful thing. Only suggestion is the shower leaks because the shower door is not sealed. So a rethink there. But otherwise fabulous and highly recommended. "
"What a great experience - beautiful property, friendly and accommodating hosts and great wine and food - what more could you want! Fabrazio and staff really made us feel at home at it was much needed and much appreciated oasis in the middle of our Italian vacation! Check out this property and wine!!"
"We had a wonderfull welcome, very professional ,friendly and helpful in every aspect. Great villa with Tuscany vibe and breathtaking views.Close enough to Florence. You can't ask for better. We will return again."

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the wines produced by the winery. Natalia and Roberta were especially friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the buffet dinner that was available on our first night that included delicious food and wines. We also took advantage of the daily breakfast since the location is somewhat remote. Alternatively, one could easily prepare their own breakfast in the apartment kitchen but we opted for the convenience. Although remote the property is conveniently located in the countryside about midway between Florence and Siena which were the two cities we planned to visit during our stay. There is a pool on the property and we did also enjoy a stroll into the vineyards one evening to watch the sunset. The reason for the lower rating with facilities is primarily around some plumbing inconvenience which was not confined to just our unit but was being appropriately addressed by the property and we did not experience any issues on our last couple of days. Overall, our experience was excellent and I would stay there again if I return to Tuscany."
