"This place is a gem. We arrived a little early which was not an issue. I speak little to bad French and the person at the desk, who may have been the owner, spoke no English, yet a combination of smiles, nods and a smidge of google translate made for a hassle free check in. When he realized that we’d be leaving before breakfast he insisted on putting together a breakfast to go for us which was a really thoughtful touch. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom looked recently renovated but with a designer touch. The room had a fridge and microwave which was a much needed plus. The beds were super comfy, the room dark and location quiet. Too bad we only needed to stay for one night. A lovely, characterful place. "
