"We arrived by bike (3 day bike ride) and was greeted by two staff with great smiles, very friendly and helpful. Easy check-in! Room was clean, well equipped, excellent A/C that was so very quiet. Large king size bed and clean washroom. Dinner on the deck was excellent, well priced again served by great staff - so friendly! The grounds were very clean and well maintained. The main lodge is the best ever - clean, bright, cool (great A/C). So much history all detailed in 5 excellent binders to read. (well done!!). Breakfast was a great experience - well done; excellent presentation; great choice; all served by excellent staff!! Overall, an excellent choice on a beautiful lake with the best staff ever! Highly recommended."

"An amazingly peaceful and serene resort perfect for a couple's getaway, or quite time with friends. The restaurant food was really really good. My only complaint was the lack of airconditioning in the cabins (and more importantly the lack of air flow, meant that the room was way too hot on one particular humid night. AC really wouldn't be needed most nights, but good airflow is a must."

"We were unfamiliar with the Haliburton Post House and booked two nights , mid week, on a whim to get out of town. The room was beautiful, the food and wine selection was great. We took advantage of their waterfront and toys on what may have been the hottest day of the year. Thanks to the staff who made us feel welcome and were the highlight of our stay."

"We had so much fun at this resort. The cabin was perfect and everything was clean and exactly what we expected. The outdoor table and set up was so nice to be able to watch kids play either at the park or the beach, and also just enjoy a morning coffee. We used the boats and kayaks and games room too. Only thing was you have to park at the main area and carry items to your cabin but it’s not far. Would definitely recommend to other families. We will be back!"

"We had a great time here, Stephanie and Dave made us feel at home, from welcoming us in, taking pictures of us without us having to ask them, a celiac friendly breakfast, water sports and friendly fellow visitors! It was a last minute getaway for us and it did not feel like we needed anything as they have thought of everything we would possibly need. Thank you guys, we will be back ❤️"
