"Parking was plentiful and close to the building. We were surprised, however, by the daily parking fee - that would have been good to know about before arrival. Had it been a longer stay, this could have been a budget issue. But overall, price for value was very reasonable.
Check-in was otherwise smooth and we found the conference and common areas very well maintained and clean. Elevators were quick and quiet, very nice. Our guest room was also very clean and afforded plenty of space and a very comfortable bed, but we were disappointed, even frustrated to find no clock.
Room walls can be a bit thin, so be careful what you say in your room about the goofball next door. There was also a barking dog on our floor that made himself known for what seemed like a couple hours into quiet time.
The breakfast bar was outstanding - with real fresh foods, eggs to order, and staff who worked hard to keep food stocked and everything clean. We also appreciate that tables for breakfast were spaced out and comfortable. Some chairs in that area need reupholster, though. My chair also has a protruding nail or brad along the bottom edge that punctured my finger as slid my chair up to the table. A child would not have had my sense of humor about that one - nor would a parent.
Location: We found the hotel easy to find and close to restaurants and Bon Secours Arena, and to the interstate.
All in all, a nice hotel that we’ll probably try again.
