"The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I booked the day before so I paid a premium. It was across from a mall and right off the highway. It had a good breakfast and all the staff were very friendly. It was fine for our journey but I found the price high for a comfort inn."

"Very outdated decoration, all the furnitures look like from the 80s and not in a very good condition. They should renovate extensively to keep up with the modern world. The carpet in the room was also very old and looks dirty. The bathroom was clean enough, one positive thing is that they have a complete kichen setup inside the room including stove, sink, freeze, microwave oven, toaster, utensils etc. which is quite rare in motel rooms."

"You won't find a more spectacular setting. The property overlooks the Northumberland Strait. It's not fancy, but intelligently designed, a little rustic, and spotless. They've had a challenging year, so some things are overdue for maintenance, but Amber is on top of making sure all needs are met. And then she goes above and beyond, offering special nights when she serves chowder, etc. Her gardens are gorgeous, she's warm and welcoming, and she nurtures the animals who come around. Just a lovely time!"
