"The property design is gorgeous. The rooms are stylish and comfortable with throw blankets, French presses and sleek furniture with warm touches of wood. The restaurant is outstanding. And the staff is attentive and caring. The views rain or shine are amazing. A very special place! Thank you!"
"Everything in Costa Rica takes some driving time. Don’t let the 1:20min drive from the airport discourage you.
Buffet food is okay.
Restaurants are good. Try the tuna tartare.
Area around the resort is busy and industrial.
Don’t waste your time driving around for souvenirs. There are no shops. The gift shop has average to low prices. Ask for coupons at check in. 10% off helps when you buy everything at once.
Airport has nice souvenirs if you don’t want to hassle during your trip, but it will probably be 20% higher. Buy your souvenirs during your excursions.
Don’t forget your Yetis’s or Stanley’s, Bars fill them with drinks.
Rooms are okay, but cleaned daily.
Rent a car and explore. We traveled to Monteverde, Waterfalls, Jaco…at our own pace.
Want to see monkeys, go to playa Manta.
The entertainment at the resort is hilarious. They’re interactive and remember your name.
I would go back. It’s mostly a locals place, but if you want to swim, drink, eat, and laugh you’ll have a good time. They do offer things to do and eat till 130-2am.
I would go back, and see the Volcano. During our stay the roads were not passable.
8 out of 10 for me.
The value $ was amazing."
"Honestly did not expect the 5 star service that they provided. I’ve never been greeted out front of a hotel until this stay. Breakfast is included but we had to leave before breakfast and sure enough at 4:30am there was breakfast waiting for our family at the check out desk! Amazing service, and the rooms and property were beautiful!!"
"Loved our stay here! The property/rooms were beautiful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The free coffee and popcorn in the evenings was a nice bonus. Wish we could’ve stayed here longer! "
"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this charming property. The reception and bar/restaurant teams were unfailingly courteous and attentive. The tasteful design and inviting atmosphere instantly make you feel at home and encourage a sense of relaxation. Conveniently located near the town center, it offers the perfect balance—close enough for a somewhat short hike, yet tucked away enough to feel removed from the bustle (such as it is in this quiet hillside town). The short walk to the center is scenic, though a touch steep. An added delight is the afternoon happy hour at the bar—a thoughtful detail that rounds out the experience beautifully. It wasn’t an issue for me at the time of the year that I visited, but some rooms don’t have air conditioning and it could be an issue during warm/hot days. "
"La propiedad muy limpia los empleados son muy amables mi único problema es la comida es muy cara y no es la comida típica q uno quiera comer no me gustó para nada pero después todo muy hermoso "
