"I loved the room with the glass wall to a private view of the back yard/hillside. There was a kitchen and a private patio area. Staff was so helpful to navigate our way and to secure a ferry reservation after we left there. Loved the area. Just wasn’t aware how mountainous it is in Costa Rica. "Banana Beach Hotel was amazing! The bungalows are clean and comfortable . The hotel is busy and very lively!!! If you are looking for quiet this is not the place for you!!! I took my 19 year old daughter for 5 days and we had the absolute best time!!! I can’t wait to take the rest of my family back! One important note- Santa Teresa is NOT easy to get to from San Jose or Liberia. We drove ourselves from Liberia and it was a 4 hour adventure . "
