"I booked this property 6 months in advance after seeing the pictures and reading the reviews. My wife and I couldn't believe it when we arrived from Heraklion and drove thru the seaside town of Georgioplous and then up the hillside to Alkion Apartments. It was amazing! "Highly recommend this lovely family run hotel in a quiet location outside rethymno. Beach is down the road. The entire staff/family was warm, welcoming and professional. All our needs were addressed with joy and compassion. The hosts offered detailed advice about all the great places to visit. My husband had a health issue and we were pointed to the best clinic.
