"5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options....

"Our stay at Iris Beach Hotel was short and it was the middle of September and at the end of the summer season, but we enjoyed our stay there. It is a very convenient location. The property is clean and the staff is friendly. It is close to the castle at Monemvasia which allowed us to go there for dinner. The hotel is also located by a beautiful beach. The outdoor breakfast area has a wonderful view of the castle."

"We only stayed here for one night, but everyone in my group agreed that we would love to spend a week here. The property is situated in a peaceful, rural environment that is a short walk to the beach and still relatively close to neapolis, a bigger town. The room was thoughtfully furnished and decorated and the host was very attentive. Our balcony had beautiful views of the mountains and the sea! Perfect place to unwind and experience the Greek countryside. "

She even shared the fascinating story behind the property we had booked, which made our stay feel even more special. The place itself was spotless, beautifully furnished, and managed to preserve its traditional charm while offering a truly comfortable and memorable experience. "The suites are nicely located if you have a car as they are a 3 minutes drive from Monemvasia but also offer a pool. The suite we had was spacious for a family with 2 kids. Staff was very nice. I just wish the pool could open later than 6pm especially as sunscreen is not allowed "

"The stay was in a good location and was comfortable and clean. However we had a top floor room and were woken up by very loud banging. Turned out they were replacing the roof and we were not warned. Management couldn’t credit us because we prepaid but they gave us breakfast. Not much we could do. Just make sure there’s no construction going on when you book!"
