"Initially i was unhappy with the condition & smell of my room as the floor & furniture needed some TLC. After already having moved the evening I checked in; I was helped the next day by front desk staff & they moved me to a higher floor. I was informed that improvements & new carpet were being made/ installed floor by floor from the top down & they were at about midway down. I originally paid for a room by the pool which is on the first floor. I did miss having my balcony slider but the new flooring looked & smelled good and met expectations, the kindness of the staff made up for it. I was mostly by myself & felt very safe due to the hospitality."

"Easy check in, cleaner than most we've stayed at near Carowinds. I bought the insurance, and needed to cancel the last night I booked, and didn't get to, so the insurance wasn't worth paying for. "

"Requested a top floor room but received a lower room & could hear the guest staying above us. Toilet paper holder was in a poor location. Shampoo holder was ripped off the shower wall. Bath towels were very thin & poor condition. Had to always ask for clean towels; waste basket disposal; clean pillow cases, etc. Not much room for hanging items or putting clothing in drawers. Terrible bed pillows! No safe in the room. The closet location along with the kitchen area & room door were too close making the area easily congested. Staff was friendly. Room was clean, but dishes were still in the dishwasher. Bed was comfortable. Refrigerator was a good size & worked well. Nice to have a sofa in the room."
