"We had quite an amazing experience at Marvel Hills. Location very good for local access, complete privacy in the room, and a host who was quite exceptional. Freshly prepared local cuisine for breakfast, great chats with the host, he even arranged for a local spice seller to come and see us, so now we have enough, high quality, spices to last for a good while. Excellent!"

Hotel is perched atop hill just outside of town. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby and the town is a nice 20 stroll down the hill. Staff hooked us up with a great driver for day trip to Sigiriya. Great place to stay!"

We had Chulan who looked after us during our stay and was very attentive and helpful. This place is old charm but with modern day facilities. The food was excellent with good choices for both breakfast and dinner. I would truly recommend this bungalow if you are ever going to Kandy. "
