"It was raining and the glass roof in the atrium was leaking everywhere, soaking all the tables and seating. They need to seal that atrium. It didn’t affect our visit but it would have been nice to enjoy the rain from inside as well. Will stay again. Nice location."

"I was impressed with my stay at the Pierpont Inn. I was there during the off season and there were very few guests. Breakfast on their outdoor patio was very nice, even if the food was standard hotel breakfast food. Great place to stay to visit Channel Islands National Park. Plus you can walk along the beach with a paved trail right by the hotel."

"We stayed on Halloween Eve 2026. We were greeted warmly and with utmost professionalism/care. Please understand that while this inn isn’t the most modern/new, it has its own unparalleled charms. We are Stephen King fans and this locale is perfectly quaint and could easily be reflected in one of his novels. The fact that it is on the beach, has great/easy parking and a powerful shower with proximity to all Ventura has to offer was sincerely appreciated. We’ll never forget our fun overnight stay. We really enjoyed the Witch’s Paddle in the Harbor that evening, dining at Lure, thrifting on C Street and listening to the mariachis at Mission Basilica San Buenaventura 1782. If you’re fussy and looking for a 5 Star Experience this may not be for you but if you want a gorgeous ocean breeze, a view of the waves and a genuine salt of the earth, whimsical experience give it a try. We want to offer our sincere gratitude to Inn on the Beach…we’ll be back:-)"

"I would say the carpet is not clean,when walking you pick up a lot of dirt on your socks. Also if you stay more than one night you have to request for room service other wise they don't do anything."
