"We loved our stay. It’s like a motel turned eco friendly resort. We had an upper corner room, which afforded us unobstructed views and privacy. The bed was so comfortable and the room was spacious—except for the bathroom. The bathroom needs vanity space! While the charm of this place is partly due to its being vintage, if I’m spending $800 a night I want a modern, spacious bathroom. "

"The hotel location was beautiful and what made the property nice. The room was nice, but a little smaller than expected. The pool was nice, the beach was divine (we saw a seal and dolphins!), but the map had a playground that wasn't there. "

"Looking for a relaxing summer get away and this didn't disappoint. Beautiful property on the water. Beach was clean and chairs and umbrellas provided. Staff was super professional and accommodating. Outside bar and restaurants, no need to leave the property. Surrounding area was quiet and close drive to the town of Essex. "
