Guter Aufenthalt mit kleineren Makeln

Grundsätzlich ein gutes Hotel mit toller Lage, da es sich unmittelbar am Meer befindet, und man schnell in Piran, Izola, Koper oder Kroatien ist. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr ausgiebig und gut! Zum Zimmer: Leider gibt - angeblich aufgrund von Corona - keinen Zimmerservice. Folglich wird das Zimmer nicht gemacht und die Handtücher nicht ausgetauscht. Ich war seit Corona auch in anderen Ländern auf Urlaub, wo es aber sehr wohl Zimmerservice gab. Zumal verlangt das Hotel auch nicht wenig Geld dafür, dass dann kein Service gibt. Weiters waren im Badezimmer Ameisen. Ich weiß nicht von wo sie kamen, aber es waren jeden Tag neue Ameisen im Badezimmer. An sich sind das alles keine großen Probleme, zumal das Zimmer sonst sehr sauber und geräumig war - bei dem Preis und bei den Sternen erwartet man sich dann aber doch keine derartigen Vorfälle. Weiters mutet der Name Cliff View interessant an, da man de facto als einzigen Ausblick jenen auf die Steinwand seitlich vom Hotel hat. Technisch gesehen ist das eine "Cliff" View - praktisch stellt man sich darunter jedoch was anderes vor. Dennoch empfehle ich das Hotel insgesamt weiter.

Nodernes Hotel mit Blick auf Wasser

Neues, sauberes Hotel direkt beim Naturpark Stunjan. Strand in der Nähe. Obwohl an der Strasse gelegen ist es ruhig. Einchecken musstwn wir beim Partnerhotel Oleander. Reception und Bar im Lavender meist unbedient (im Oktober).

Please note, this hotel is closed for the season. When you book here, you are involuntarily moved to another property that is owned by the same company. So, I do not know why it is even listed on Expedia except to be able to have double the opportunities to attract guests. Either way, the fact that this can happen is proof that Expedia has little to no control measures place to protect your customers from bait and switch practices. You should be ashamed of yourselves. This is not how you should treat your customers. Why should anyone trust your company with their travel plans when you list hotels that are not even open.

weinig oog voor individuele gast

De bussen die toekwamen met vakantiegangers hadden voorrang, er was geen oog voor de individuele reiziger. De ene keer ontbijt in de Oleander de andere keer in Lavender, was bijna nooit aangekondigd. Ontbijt zeer eentonig. Soms werden er dingen niet aangevuld en was er alleen wit brood over :(. In Lavender was de receptie quasi nooit open en was er dus niemand aanwezig, je had steeds je sleutel nodig om je hotel binnen te gaan, je was er als het ware alleen en aan je lot overgelaten. Als er bussen toekwamen dan kregen die voorrang en was iedereen aanwezig. Bij het uitchecken moesten wij nog taksen betalen, we hadden deze nochtans betaald bij de boeking. Eerst was er zelfs twijfel over de betaling. Jammer. De poetsploeg verdient een pluim.

Clean, well presented room. Only things missing were tea/coffee making facilities (although the bar would provide hot water free of charge). Also the double bed was furnished with two single duvets, which we found unusual.

Room is basic but clean and ok for this price. Problem is that there is no sound isolation and you hear everything from hall and other rooms. Reception wasn’t working in the afternoon when I want to check in and they had notification on entry door that hotel is closed and that you should go to hotel Oleander (maybe 200m away). First I had to drag lugage to Levander hotel, than to second hotel and that back to Levander. I would be nice if you would get notification where you should check in and where are you staying.

Gutes 3Sterne Hotel, super Lage für aktiven Urlaub

Wir waren als Paar Anfang September im Hotel Lavender. Unsere Erwartungen an das 3Sterne-Hotel (Landeskategorie) wurden voll erfüllt. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit Strandblick gebucht und wurden in einem geräumigen Dreibettzimmer untergebracht. Wir kamen Mittags an und dank der Bemühungen der freundlichen Dame an der Rezeption konnten wir unser Zimmer früher als vorgesehen beziehen. Das gesamte Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Atmosphäre im Hotel war ruhig und angenehm. Es waren überwiegend Paare mittleren Alters anwesend. Beim Frühstück gabs kein Gedränge und keinen Lärm. Man kann sich tagsüber und abends gemütlich auf der Terrasse zusammensitzen. Getränke dazu kann man zu moderaten Preisen an der Rezeption kaufen. Das Angebot beim Frühstück war gut. Rühreier, Würstchen, Wurst, Käse, Brötchen, Marmelade, Obst, Müsli... alles vorhanden was man braucht. Es wurde auch immer zügig nachgefüllt. Kaffee und Saft waren das einzige Negative - beides aus dem Automaten - Wasser mit Konzentrat. Geschmacklich nicht unser Fall. Besser einen Tee aufbrühen oder einen Kaffee aus dem Vollautomaten an der Rezeption holen (extra bezahlen). Die Lage ist optimal für aktive Urlauber. 2 Strände in der Nähe (ca. 300 und 500 m entfernt), Parkplatz direkt am Hotel. Direkt vom Hotel weg gibts gute Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge und Wanderungen (nach Piran, Portoroz, ins Naturschutzgebiet ...). 2 günstigere Gaststätten (slowenische Küche) in näherer Umgebung.

Hübsch Hotel mit ruhiger Lage und freundlichem Personal. Einkaufs- und Ausgehmöglichkeiten sind in 5 bis 10 Minuten mit dem Auto in den umliegenden Ortschaften schnell zu erreichen.

I booked the hotel lavender but they switched me to hotel oleander which is what this review is for. We got a room right over the entry gate which closes at night so cars queue up to get in and honk when the gate won't open and we went in May so the air conditioning wasn't turned on yet so we had to sleep with an open window. Very noisy because of this and the road next to the hotel which has cars zooming by till late and again early in the morning. Breakfast was only okay. I would only recommend as it was one of the cheapest options in the area and a short drive to Piran/Portoroz.
