"For the price, I was very impressed by the friendly service at the front desk, clean room with extra amenities like ear plugs, and decorative extras in the room that made it really cozy. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning was nice and cool. We stayed to be close to the Pismo beach golf club (10 minutes away) to play first thing in the morning. We had a wonderful stay and then a great golf morning. I highly recommend this place as a clean, nice place to stay for a great price!"

"We had a pleasant stay at Ocean Palms Motel. Room is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. There’s AC and parking right on-site (we were able to park right in front of our room). Shower is simple but functional, I had a good shower. Amenities seemed to be newly upgraded. Although it gets kind of noisy with the room upstairs and people walking outside. Walking distance to shops and the pier is definitely a highlight. A few areas that can be improved are: the main door was semi stuck and hard to open, no extra lock (the one with chain); I didn’t see a fire alarm. Overall a good stay and very fair price. I would come back."

"We have stayed at Oxford Suites many times. It’s a nice hotel in a good location. However, we were a little disappointed on this trip. Our bed sheets were on sideways so the fitted sheet came off the mattress in the middle of the night. They did replace and fix the bedding the next morning. The mattress itself was the worst I’ve ever slept on. It was so old and sunk in the middle. We didn’t get much sleep the 3 nights we were there and had terrible back ache. The breakfast food is terrible. The staff are very nice and friendly. I’m not sure if we will return there on our annual visit to Pismo."
