"The only true description of Norse Skoal on the hotels-com website was this this hotel was a former school building. The 'family suite' we had booked and which looked inviting on the website was an abandoned classroom, fitted with a fold out bed. The water coming out of the faucets was brown. There is no 'reception' at the school. We waited an hour till someone showed up in the evening, even though hotels.com wrote that our 'suite' was ready earlier in the day. A guy (the owner?) finally showed up and led us down the (school) hallway (still complete with student artwork on the walls) to our room, i.e. 'Leif's Den.' Had we not been so tired and ready for a bed to sleep in, we would have left immediately. Worst accommodations ever for the price we paid. Unless you're a group of kids looking for a summer camp adventure."
