"By far the best experience! It was the staff that make the experience more enjoyable. On our first day we met Wasanthi, she showed us the beauty of what Raddison has to offer, made me a lovely coconut water by the beach. We then met with Ashan Randika at the bar who served beer and the best pizza! Throughout our stay they made sure we had the best time. Thank you team, highly recommend 5 star service! "Such an incredibly beautiful property, the rooms had such beautiful Dutch old world charm. If you have the budget spurge and get the Admiral Suite. It’s huge!!!!!! I felt like a true queen with it all to myself. I also opted for the full board. As with many other I can confirm the food is outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a delightful stay. If you’re thinking booking just go ahead and book it. "

"I tried contacting you to discuss this relocation due to a let down on a prior booking in the Galle Fort area but your system doesn’t allow it. I appreciated the efforts of the advisors to help me secure another but it was a poor choice. No wifi TV that only allows playback via devices Made for very lonely evenings. Bathroom and kitchen areas could with daily cleaning - sink was not very pleasant.lLikewise bedding/towel could have fresh each day. Electrics in the bathroom not sure how safe. Plus other electrical boxes on the stairwell with exposed wiring. Located away from Galle Fort which spoilt my planned itinerary. I had to incur additional transport hassle and costs to get me there.I had travelled from the UK for a special purpose and relocation was not appropriate to the standard I was expecting. I am hoping to go to Galle again next week and I notice on the system the Galle Fort Inn is still offering accommodation when in fact it’s still a building site - why?"

"We loved our stay at Arabella. Loved the simplicity and size of the rooms. Kept very clean and tidy by the staff. Cute offering of bananas for supper in the room with the turn down service. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Pool area was on the small size but we had no problem using it when we wanted to. Kitchen and kitchen staff were A . Food and service was amazing highly recommend the chimichurri prawns & the prawn or fish tacos! All breakfast options were great also! Tuk Tuks available outside the property cost us 1200 rupees to the fort which is approx 15 minutes away. Beach not suitable for swimming but a lot of the Sri Lankan coastline is rough like this and if you want to be able to swim in the ocean you’ll need to stay at one of the touristy areas which actually make great day trips from the hotel. Great spot for a walk along the beach. We went in the peak tourist season & found this good value for money for our family would happily stay again. Staff attentive even playing cricket with our son. Cons No kettle in the room for making tea only a coffee machine so you need to wait for the kitchen to open at 8am before you can get a pot of tea- would be nice to have one in the room If you’re in room 1 it is closest to the road and you might need some ear plugs or white noise. Also suggest an eye mask as there are shutters that allow the light through. Breakfast not available till 8 when the kitchen/restaurant opens would be nicer if it opened a little earlier "

"The best place to stay. This is boutique accommodation on a quiet street, a short drive to the main attractions. I loved being surrounded by nature in the pool, seeing beautiful birds and monkeys in the trees, bats and fireflies at night. Staying here was the highlight of our time in Galle. The rooms are large, very clean, with comfortable beds. Our host made us the most superb breakfast each morning. They were helpful with information about things to do and transportation, they also offered personal tours and tuk-tuk rides at good rates. If you like a peaceful place to unwind at the end of the day, with really helpful hosts, this is the place for you."
