"Lobby,dining,outdoor areas are beautiful, pool & hot tub are great! Includes a small, shallow pool on upper level, separate from the large pool for the little ones. Pool area smelled very strongly of chemicals so were unable to spend too much time enjoying the hot tub after our long travels because our eyes were burning too badly. Maybe if one of the exterior doors was propped to vent the area it would have been tolerable. The hotel is currently going through a complete remodel, however our room was not one that had been done yet. It sounded like they were working in either the unit above or next to ours, but construction ended plenty early and didn’t start until late enough in the morning to allow everyone time to sleep. From the items being discarded and piled in the lot out back, the units will receive all new furnishings, including mattresses, tile flooring, heat-A/C units, the works! The new beds are needed…I’ve slept on worse, but the mattresses were hard, lumpy and the springs were loud every time one of us moved. Hopefully the new beds correct that. The “connected” room next to ours had a group of really loud girls, sounded like a dance party going on next door until after 11pm, making it difficult for my family to fall asleep, but after a long day of driving we were too tired to ask to move rooms. Breakfast included biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage links, toast, bagels, instant oatmeal & selection of mix-in’s, cold cereal, yogurt, bananas, juice, coffee, tea"
