Upon arrival, there was food still in my fridge(which wouldnt get cold) from the previous guest, the room would not cool down, no matter what I set the thermostat to, and there was a fire alarm at 1:15AM which lasted nearly two hours because nobody seemed to be able to figure out what the non existent issue was.

Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Hotel has both indoor and outdoor pool. Very few outdoor pools in the area. Couple of small items that were amiss in room, inch of water in a supposed clean glass. The hair conditioner bottle did not dispense the conditioner and the air conditioner grate was loose and vibrated loudly. I consider those things minor and would stay again

One good thing about Pittsburgh

Hotel is clean and always well appointed. Location works for me in Pittsburgh and it is close to shopping and food .

We booked this last-minute hotel stay while on a road trip, and were happy to find a place with free parking. We booked a king room but at check-in we learned there were none available, so we ended up with 2 queens. The lobby was spacious and modern, but our room showed signs of age (closet didn’t fully close) and had questionable stains in the bathroom by the trash can and on the curtains. The shower floor was grayish, and one of the towels had dark spots. We found hairs on the bathroom counter and plastic from clipped tags on the floor. We just felt it wasn’t as tidy as we’re used to at other Doubletree hotels, but we checked in so late that we went with it. We did enjoy the breakfast buffet and found the breakfast staff to be friendly and accommodating.

If you need a clean hotel north of Pittsburgh, this is a great place! It was an easy drive from the city, but even easier to get on the turnpike from it.

Clean & relaxing hotel.

The lobby, lounge & work areas were very nice. The rooms were clean and mattresses comfortable. The shower was nice with great water pressure. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Also, the gym was clean and had excellent exercise equipment.

The hotel was quite busy when we checked in, yet the staff was courteous, friendly, and efficient. The room was clean and well laid-out, and the bed was quite comfortable. There was a good assortment of food for breakfast, quickly replenished, and the staff, again, was efficient and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

We were very pleased with the conditions of the hotel when we arrived. The lobby was pristine, the staff was smiling and welcoming, and our room was very welcoming. If we ever pass by again, we will be back!
