I stayed five nights at Nirvana in mid-April. It’s a great place to stay in Placencia. It’s centrally located in the village and is an easy walk to bars, restaurants, shopping, and the dock from which many excursions depart. I had a first-floor unit with plenty of space, a comfortable bed, and very nice porch. The beach is right outside the front door of the unit. There is a light breakfast on the roof each morning and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I’m already thinking about staying at Nirvana again.

Best hotel we have stayed at anywhere in Belize (and one of my all-time favorites anywhere)! Nirvana pretty much sums it up. Beautiful room, comfy bed and an incredible porch with chairs and hammocks overlooking the Caribbean. Staff is also wonderful, accommodating and friendly. Bonus was the kayaks and paddleboards that were available steps from the sea. Also, the best beach we have seen in Belize (and we have travelled all over). Cannot think of a single thing I would change about this place.

Fantastic place and people that operate the Nirvana, they took very good care of my family, we had two suites. My wife and I in one and sister and her boyfriend in another. My girlfriend and I loved our stay there. The breakfast was always adequate and the room was amazing, extremely spacious and comfortable with cable and streaming on both big screens. The kitchen was great too with a central range. We went kayaking and biking and the staff were super accommodating. I felt safe there, just keep in mind it is in the middle of placencia so if you don’t want to immerse yourself in the culture and the people of the strip go to a remote resort. I loved this characteristic of the resort but other people may differ.
