Beautiful place to stay with 1st class service. Far enough out of town for peace but only 5 minutes outside of town. Their food was excellent and reasonably priced compared to town. Definitely get a golf cart.

We just returned from a week at Chabil Mar Villas. We loved our stay there. The staff were so nice, helpful and accommodating, especially at the front office. The food and drinks were great whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. The location was great to walk to town or bike around. We would recommend this property to anyone considering spending time in Placencia.

Staying here was by far one of the best vacation experiences. The hospitality was amazing. Dion, Natalie, Locho, and everyone else that we met while On property went above and beyond the normal. I can’t recommend Chabil enough and will definitely be coming back!

Just stayed a few days to check out Placencia. Chabil Mar made a good base to launch from. They had an hourly shuttle into the village, and Lacho, the driver was great at finding you anywhere

One of the most amazing places I've ever stayed at. It was quiet clean and super friendly. It was like we had the whole place to ourselves. The bed was incredible. The ocean was 30 feet from our door. I would live there if they let me.

A beautiful and intimate resort on the Caribbean. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the accommodations were just perfect. Left Placencia wondering when we could come back. Our stay at chabil mar was incredible. The resort was immaculate and quiet. It has two beautiful pools and a quaint dock. The beach was kept up very nicely. The resort was maybe a kilometer away from Placencia but they offered a free hourly shuttle and complimentary bikes. We were even able to kayak into town on the free kayaks! The resort might be a bit pricey but for the luxury it was definitely worth it. Excellent place for weddings! They have very big rooms with well appointed kitchens.
