"The property is disgusting which we kind of expected from the reviews, we were only staying for 1 night so thought we'd take the risk, we definitely wouldn't have wanted to stay longer than 1 night though! The area was lovely, kept the kids busy all day with a bouncy castle, beach and park, unfortunately the water slide wasn't open though. The restaurant and staff were really friendly and helpful. "

La chambre était impeccable, très propre et bien entretenue, ce qui est pour moi un point essentiel. On se sent tout de suite à l’aise. Franchement, rien à redire, tout s’est très bien passé. "A great stop off hotel to break up a 800km journey but would also be great for a 2 night stay to explore the area. Lovely pool and very good restaurant. Breakfast great value for money too. Highly recommended"

"Staff was great; kind and very helpful. They offered a free buffet breakfast which was ample and good. The room, although a bit dated, was clean, comfortable and in working order. The location is on the Loire du Velo bike trail, near vineyards and wineries and less than 10 minutes from Chinon city center. Realize that this is an old manor so enjoy the charm and ambiance. "
