Sunset Cove Beach Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Highly recommend this retro resort for a Florida Keys getaway! We stayed mid-week in standalone Cottage #3 (across from the dinosaur), which was perfect for relaxing away from Miami. Although we skipped the resort’s beach area for a John Pennekamp snorkel trip, we enjoyed the peaceful sunset in the cove. Staff are extremely helpful and provide everything you need. Note: Breakfast is very minimal, but High Tide Restaurant across the street has amazing homemade biscuits!"

"We moved here last minute from a grimey hotel down the street, so we had to settle for a small room next to the elevator w a parking lot view, but it was still really nice. We’ve stayed here before, in a bigger room w a water view, and it was awesome. Will definitely stay there again. Only con is the shuttle they offered… the pickup time kept getting pushed off to the point where we finally just called an Uber and it was there in 2 minutes. They need more shuttles going at once."

"We had an excellent stay at Three Waters Resort in Islamorada. Everything about the property was great from start to finish. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the entire resort was beautiful and inviting. One of the things we really enjoyed was all of the included amenities. We took advantage of the complimentary kayaks, and they also had bikes available for guests to use at no additional charge. It was a great way to get out, explore, and enjoy the area. The fire pits at night were another highlight. Sitting outside by the fire was the perfect way to end the day and really added to the relaxing Keys atmosphere. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. The property was clean, the amenities were excellent, and there honestly wasn’t anything we could complain about. We would absolutely stay at Three Waters again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Islamorada!"
