We could only message hotel .com, but the staff told us just to wait until the morning on the check in day, it was so frustrating as we waited but they didn't contact us. "Beautiful cottage in a fantastic, friendly village. It had everything we needed and was located close enough to the places we wanted to visit. Good local walks and a really nice pub over the road. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area."

"Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. "No one took care of our check in. We waited for the staff to come for an hour in the rain but still no one showed up. Finally he guided on the phone to get in the apartment. This is ridiculous! The kitchenwares were all very dirty which couldn't be used if we didn't wash it ourselves. But there was no detergent provided. The washing machine and the toaster were very so dirty that we didn't try to use them. However the cleaning charge of £50 was still charged! We asked the staff to come twice...

"Nice hotel with excellent facilities. Chose this hotel over others in the area as it had free parking, air conditioning and late check out options. Breakfast was great, very well organised and plenty of choice, worth paying the extra for. The staff were all really pleasant and helpful, especially Tibor on reception. The room was spacious and clean, mini fridge a bonus. We had an issue with the air con which was making a loud noise, but the staff very quickly arranged another identical room just across the corridor. Really can't fault it, wish we had booked 2 nights so we would have had time to use the pool. But we'll definitely stay there again so spa and pool next time!"

"Staff were very helpful, we had an incident with my lipstick on our bedroom carpet, the staff were amazing at sorting this out - unfortunately the carpet was probably the thing which let this stay down, as it was a bit worse for wear. However, the rest of the room and hotel was very nice. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice of both cold and hot food. "
